Meeting(s) attended / work done with dates: the name and dates of the meeting/conference/event/training session attended on behalf of BIMHN. 

Below you can find information referring to different situations requiring claiming of expenses, and the corresponding sections of the form.

 

If you are attending a BIMHN members meeting

Transport: BIMHN is able to cover reasonable travel expenses to and from the relevant event. Please attach receipts evidencing the amount spent.

  • if you are driving, the travel allowance is 45p per mile travelled. Parking costs incurred on the day can be covered.
  • if you are cycling, the travel allowance is 50p per mile travelled

 

If you are attending an involvement opportunity, for example a conference or training session

Transport: BIMHN is able to cover reasonable travel expenses to and from the relevant event. Please attach receipts evidencing the amount spent.

  • if you are driving, the travel allowance is 45p per mile travelled. Parking costs incurred on the day can be covered.
  • if you are cycling, the travel allowance is 50p per mile travelled

Attendance allowance: this rate will have been agreed with you specifically in advance. Normally, this will be £12 per hour. 

 

If you are attending a meeting with a local organisation, for example with the CCG, Bristol City Council, or an NHS service, as a lived experience representative

Printing/internet costs: sometimes, ahead of events and meetings, you may print out papers in advance. If this is the case complete the number of occasions that printing was required (£1 per meeting).
